Questions worth answering up front.
Do I need to add code to the site?
No. Sitemark runs as a Chrome extension on top of the live page, so there is nothing to install on the site itself and nothing to deploy.
Do my clients need an account?
To take part, yes, but it is free: they sign in with Google or an emailed link, with no password and no payment. They can then comment on pins from any browser; placing their own pins also takes the free Chrome extension. They only see the projects you invite them to. To just show them the feedback, send a report link instead: it opens without an account.
Does it work on staging or password-protected sites?
Yes — if your browser can open the page, the extension can pin on it.
What happens to a pin if the page changes?
Each pin stores a CSS selector plus a screenshot and scroll position, so the note keeps its context even when the element moves.
What happens when my free trial ends?
You move to the free plan: 1 active project and 50 new pins a month, with unlimited teammates and clients. Nothing is deleted. Your projects, pins and comments all stay, and a paid plan raises the limits whenever you need more.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from Dashboard → Plan & billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. If you change your mind within 7 days of your first payment, we refund it in full.
